Purusha or the Cosmic Divine Being is first mentioned in Rigveda. Purusha Sukta is a hymn from the Rigveda venerating the Purusha. Purusha Suktam means the best possible way to praise Purusha or the Lord or it also means when the Lord is explained in the best possible way. The hymn was devised by the great Rishi Narayan, Seer. Purush Suktam and Shri Suktam are believed to be most powerful ways to worship the Divine in the masculine and the feminine form. According to Vedas there is only one form of Lord i.e Purusha and the same is not about the physical form but also about the attainment of the Purusha. Mantras from Purusha Suktam are often used to worship Lord in any male form. Purusha Sukta from the Vedas is just not only a powerful hymn but it is a pathway for the seekers of reality. It is believed that the Sukta is so powerful that is capable enough to raise Divinity in the seeker of truth or reality.
