The 7 Mukhi Rudraksha is blessed by the Saptamatrikas and provides the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. The 7 Sages known as Saptarishis, Sun, Mahasen, Anang and Ananta, the snake also bless this bead.
The word “Ananta” (infinite) actually gives an insight into the several powers the wearer of this bead can access. In the scriptures Lord Vishnu has told that of all the snakes he is Ananta. Lord Vishnu is often depicted with Sthira (stable) Lakshmi on Ananta. Thus this bead carries the power of Goddess Lakshmi in her most stable form. The blessing of Goddess Lakshmi brings in wealth, fame, progress and removes bad luck. This power is experienced by the wearer of this bead as per texts.
The 8 Mukhi Rudraksha is graced by Lord Ganesh. He is the Pratham Pujya, the deity who is always invoked first before undertaking any kind of work. As per texts like Shrimad Devi Bhagwatam and Padma Purana Lord Karthikeya also blesses the 8 Mukhi Rudraksha. The Rudraksha Jabalo Upanishad mentions that the eight Vasus, eight divine mother Goddesses and Mother Ganga (the sacred river known for washing away sins) also bless this bead. The Shri Rudram a hymn that describes the magnificence of Lord Shiva opens with a prayer to Lord Ganesha first.
Lord Ganesh is the first deity to be invoked irrespective of the nature of the task or undertaking. This practice denotes the auspiciousness of his presence. As per texts, His blessings bestow knowledge and keen intellect on the wearer. The Mooladhara / Base Chakra gets awakened and stabilized. The malefic effects of Rahu and Kaal Sarp Dosh are effectively kept in check.
The 12 Mukhi Rudraksha is blessed by the Sun also addressed as Surya. Dwadash Aditya is the name given to the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha. The Padma Puran mentions that the wearer of the 12 Mukhi can acquire wealth and happiness. He is freed from the fear of fiery energies and diseases. Poverty stays away from the wearer. Any sin incurred on account of killing or abetting the murder of animals and soldiers at war is nullified by this bead.
The Shrimad Devi Bhagwatam clearly states that the wearer of the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha does not experience any fear of armed men, horned animals and lions. He is free of any physical or mental agony. Thereby this Rudraksha makes the wearer fearless and frees him from troubles. As per the Rudraksha Jabalo Upanishad, Lord Vishnu also blesses this bead. It provides leadership qualities and the individual can harness control over people. It makes the wearer radiant like the Sun and gives inner strength to govern like a mighty ruler. It eliminates all internal doubts that plague the mind and blesses the person with internal happiness.
